Location: Aurora, Colorado

Shift: Day Shift Mon-Fri 40 hrs + OT

Pay: $17.00 $25.00 BOE

Duties:

A Machine Operator is a professional who works with heavy machinery. Their duties include:
Preparing machinery for daily use
Inspecting machinery for safety issues
Training other employees
Loading raw materials into equipment for manufacturing
Making necessary adjustments and repairs
Monitoring equipment as it runs
Handling any kind of reporting paperwork or data entry
Operating conveyor belts in industries like shipping logistics2

Machine operators should have working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.), an understanding of production procedures, adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear), the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals, analytical skills, attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills, physical stamina and strength, and a high school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus
